Porchlight Property Partners

DMCA Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Porchlight Property Partners respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same of everyone who uses porchlightpropertypartners.com. In line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we respond promptly to clear notices of claimed copyright infringement, including claims about photos, descriptions, or other material in property listings shown on this site.

Some listings on this site are provided through Internet Data Exchange (IDX) programs of the multiple listing services we participate in, and may be held by brokerage firms other than ours. If you believe a listing displayed here contains material that infringes your copyright, please follow the steps below.

How to submit a takedown notice

Send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes all of the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (or that of someone authorized to act for the copyright owner).
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  3. The specific location of the material on our site — for a listing, the page link (URL) and, if shown, the MLS listing number — with enough detail for us to find it.
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

When we receive a complete notice, we will remove or disable access to the material promptly and, where the material came from an MLS listing feed, notify the listing provider. Incomplete notices may delay our response.

Counter-notice

If you believe material you posted or provided was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the designated agent that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that it has filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity.

Repeat infringers

We will, in appropriate circumstances, disable access for users or providers who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.

Listing accuracy (not copyright)

To report an error in a listing (price, status, details) rather than a copyright issue, email alyssa@porchlightpropertypartners.com or call (706) 671-4678. We correct or remove inaccurate information within 48 hours of being notified.

Please note that knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
